Weights- Hard Weights

The Scuba Shop’s selection of plastic-coated hard weights are hand-made by the folks at Arrow Weights, a family-owned and operated facility that has been producing diving accessories for more than 40 years. Each high-gloss coated lead weight is poured by hand and bonded with a hot-dip Plastisol, which is a durable plastic commonly used products that must withstand rugged outdoor conditions.

Divers have reported that plastic-coated weights are more comfortable than non-coated hard weights, and can be used either in a weight pocket or on a belt. Scuba divers who prefer hard weights note that hard weights dry quicker than soft weights. Hard weights also typically last longer than soft weights due to their durability, allowing you to use them on more dives before having to replace them.
