SSI Course- Marine Ecology

Are you fascinated by marine life? If you would like to learn more about the marine ecosystem including habitats, populations, and interactions among underwater organisms and their environment, then you may want to consider becoming certified in Marine Ecology. SSI's Marine Ecology Course will provide you with a general understanding of science of marine ecology. To enroll in SSI's Marine Ecology Course, you must be at least 10 years old and Open Water Certified.

In SSI's Marine Ecology Course, you will learn learn how underwater organisms interact with each other and their environment, the flow of energy through communities, and the link between ocean ecosystems. You will complete the academic portion of the Marine Ecology Course either through SSI's website or on your phone with the MySSI app. There are no water sessions necessary to complete this course. You will earn the SSI Marine Ecology Specialty certification after completing this program..
