SSI Course- Fish ID

After receiving your Open Water Certification, you may want to learn more about various marine life that you may encounter underwater. SSI's Fish Identification Course is a non-diving specialty program that will familiarize you with a variety of fish, including  Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, and Red Sea reef fish. To take SSI's Fish Identification Course, you must be at least 10 years old and Open Water Certified.

In SSI's Fish Identification Course, you'll learn how to identify several different species of fish; distinguish between herbivorous, carnivorous, & omnivorous fish; identify unique fish behaviors; and more. This Fish Identification class is taken online, integrating text, videos, illustrations, and more for a full learning experience. A pool session or open water dive is optional for an additional fee. You will earn the SSI Fish Identification Specialty certification after completing this program.

Please note that coursework (online books, etc.) is not refundable.  You will retain this material even if you cancel your training.
