SSI Course- Cavern Diving

Being able to safely explore underwater caves and caverns requires a special certification. SSI's Cavern Diving Course will teach you the necessary skills so that you can plan and execute your own cavern penetration dives with a dive buddy up to 130 feet/40 meters within the light zone. To enroll in SSI's Cavern Diving Course, you must be at least 18 years old, have your Advanced Open Water Diver certification, and have a minimum of 24 logged dives.

In SSI's Cavern Diving Course, you'll learn how to use specialized cavern diving equipment, approaches to gas management, and relevant buddy team skills. You will complete the academic part of the Cavern Diving Course at your convenience online either on SSI's website, on your phone with the MySSI app, or even a combination of both. You will earn the SSI Cavern Diver certification after completing this program.
