SSI Course- Navigation

SSI's Navigation Specialty Course is designed to enable the diver to comfortably and safely navigate underwater. Being able to leave and return to a designated point is a useful skill for a diver to master, and it is only one of the lessons taught in this course. To enroll in SSI's Navigation Course, you must be at least 10 years old and Open Water Certified.

In SSI's Navigation Course, you'll learn how to use a compass as well as natural navigation techniques, how to estimate distance, navigation patterns, and more. After completing the academic portion of the Navigation Specialty class online via SSI's Digital Learning System, you will participate in two open water dives. You will earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification after completing this program.

Please note that coursework (online books, etc.) is not refundable.  You will retain this material even if you cancel your training.
