The Scuba Shop is a family-owned and operated dive shop that proves scuba training courses, equipment sales and rentals, service and repairs, travel, and more. Located in North Richland Hills, Texas, the Scuba Shop is an SSI-Diamond training facility, and our expert diving instructors teach a wide range of courses ranging from beginners to advanced, diving specialties, and professional training. Divers are trained in our onsite heated pool, which is also available for pool rental.
We strive to offer the highest level of training possible, and keep our classes small to ensure more personal training , focused on ensuring you leave well trained and comfortable with your skills.
Rick Morris
Owner / Instructor
Rick Morris is one of our shop owners and an SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer, and Platinum 1000 level instructor. He is able to instruct most SSI recreational scuba diving courses.
Dawn Morris
Owner / Instructor
Dawn Morris is one of our shop owners and an SSI Silver 300 level Advanced Open Water Instructor. She is able to teach most SSI recreational scuba courses and specializes in working with nervous divers.
Dario Guevara
Instructor
Dario is an SSI Advanced Open Water Diver and is abel to teach several SSI courses. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
JT Carter
Divemaster
JT has dove all over the world and gained a lot of experience in extremely varied dive conditions. He assists with training, ensuring our students are comfortable and safe.
John Fink
Assistant Instructor
John has been with us for several years and assists with Open Water instruction and with many specialty courses.
Ramy Mousa
Divemaster
Ramy has gained a large amount of experience in varied training as he is expanding his diving to include technical diving. He helps keep our students safe and comfortable in all of our classes.
Danine Goforth
Assistant Instructor
Danine assists with Open Water training and teaches many of our Try Scuba classes. She is excellent at calming anxious students.
Donny Goforth
Assistant Instructor
Donny assists with Open Water and specialty classes, as well as teaching Try Scuba and Scuba Update classes.
