Sunscape Curaçao Resort (ALL INCLUSIVE)

At Sunscape Curaçao, you will stay in a spacious, welcoming, Deluxe room with a picturesque view of lush tropical gardens. Your stay includes all meals, drinks (including alcohol), snacks, entertainment, plus free use of the onsite gym, sauna & steam room.  The resort is well located, near Mambo Beach, with shops and live entertainment.  The staff at the resort are extremely warm and welcoming, helping to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

There are multiple restaurants, including a rotating buffet with different themed dinners nightly, Oceana- a seafood restaurant on the beach, Italian, Blue Water Grill, and Hibachi.  The nightly entertainment ranges from a fire show on the beach to Carnival, which is not to be missed.

A good beach and large lagoon area is great for down time, or non-divers who wish to catch some rays or snorkel.

Ocean Encounters

The onsite dive operator, Ocean Encounters, hosts our dives. The large boats are very well kept, with a marine head (toilet) on board.  The house reef about 30 – 40 yards from shore that is great for an afternoon or night dive. Curaçao is one of the most underrated diving spots in the world, featuring clear water, healthy coral ecosystems, colorful fish, and wrecks.  The staff and guides at Ocean Encounters are an outstanding group, making every dive safe and extremely enjoyable.  We simply cannot say enough about this dive operation!

Marine Life in Curaçao

Curaçao has a very healthy reef system, with vibrant coral, and with a healthy reef you also get an abundance of marine life.  While you will not see large pelagic species, you will see a large range of other marine life of every dive.  You may see any of the following underwater marine life when diving in Curaçao: turtles, frogfish, arrow crabs, seahorses, lettuce sea slugs, spotted snake eels, gobies, pygmy angelfish, moray eels, blennies, shrimp, princess parrotfish, and more.  As many times as we have dove in Curaçao we have never been disappointed, and it remains one of our favorite places to dive in the world.
