SSI Course- Shark Ecology

Blockbuster movies and shocking news reports have given sharks a terrifying reputation, yet many sharks live near popular dive locations. Taking SSI's Shark Ecology Course will familiarize you with sharks and their behavior as well as teach you how to safely observe them in their natural habitat. To enroll in SSI's Shark Ecology Course, you must be at least 10 years old and Open Water Certified.

In SSI's Shark Ecology Course, you'll learn how to identify different species of sharks, record various body sizes, recognize unique behaviors, and more. The Shark Ecology class is accessible online either via computer or the MySSi app, providing you with first-rate photos, illustrations, videos, and information. A pool session or open water dive is optional for an additional fee. You will earn the SSI Shark Ecology Specialty certification after completing this program.

Please note that coursework (online books, etc.) is not refundable.  You will retain this material even if you cancel your training.
